CMS or content management system is one of the most useful web application used today across the market. This is because of its benefits pertaining to users. Unlike in the past in which skills is required to edit, remove, or add an entity in a website, usually requiring a web designer or a web developer, CMS can minimize this effort by providing user-friendly features allowing users to make changes within the website even without the required skills. Although it may also be known as WCMS or web CMS, many just call the application as CMS. Unlike Web-site builders, a WCMS allows non-technical users to make changes to a website with little training. A WCMS typically requires an experienced coder to set up and add features, but is primarily a Web-site maintenance tool for non-technical administrators. However, other than static and dynamic websites, CMS applications are also known to provide editing capabilities for Flash contents. According to Wed design Philippines consultants, this CMS is usually known as Flash CMS. Flash CMS A Flash CMS (content management system) is a new type of content management system used to manage Adobe Flash contents, such as animations and other elements in which Flash is used. This application’s main purpose is to produce Flash content within a browser environment. However, for a CMS to qualify as a Flash CMS application, according to Wed design Philippines consultants, it must first be able to manage every element found in Flash contents from text, images, and sound to movies, animations and actions. And like any other CMS applications, it must be done in a way that no programming skills are needed to use the application. Levels of Flash CMS Applications According to Wed design Philippines consultants, there are different levels of Flash CMS as well as targets. This includes: Simple Level or site builders: Predefined templates where users can use custom images and texts to generate slideshows. Advanced Level: Users can start with a blank sheet and add media, animation and navigation within the flash. Development oriented: set of Flash components or frameworks – i.e. set of classes. Different targets: Target Consumer or widgets generators: This type of Flash CMS application is mainly targeted to help people add flash content to their MySpace and Facebook sites. Target Business: This Flash CMS’ main focus is integration with or replacement of traditional Content Management System. Visit http://www.myoptimind.com for more info. Read the full post

SEO in it’s crudest form is nothing more than acquiring inbound links to a website and getting the search engines to notice it. Link farming is a lesser known form of SEO that isn’t quite as important. Even having a true silo structured website is useless without inbound links. Read the full post

Having been in the business of optimizing web sites for high search engine rankings for over five years now, I have come across a number of “optimized” sites that use search engine optimization (SEO) techniques that are just plain WRONG.
It may not have hurt me that much if the mistakes were committed by SEO beginners not yet familiar enough with the industry to determine SEO fact from SEO fiction. But what’s scary is that some of the sites I’ve seen using incorrect methods have been optimized by so called search engine optimization “experts” who really should know better and must have done better. I always have clients that I have to explain why it is a good idea to take off the intro page to their website. So to explain to everyone having an intro page to your website is not a good idea and is probably costing you sales and enquiries. Get rid of it! Now!
What is it
An intro page is a home page that blocks you before you get to the main content of a website. Maybe it has an animation or a logo, but there is something on the page that basically says welcome to our website now click here to continue. Read the full post
